What are the treatment options for varicose veins?

How Laser/RFA treatment is done?
By doing a small puncture in diseased vein Laser/RFA fiber is introduced up to leaking valves. Then the diseased veins are occluded giving a controlled energy. Blood flow remains constant via normal venous channels.
Is it a painful procedure?
No you will not feel any pain during surgery. Can be done under local/spinal/general anesthesia. Post-surgery, minimal discomfort might be felt, which can be easily tolerated by most patients.
